RMR is looking for a full-time Logistics Coordinator, who will answer incoming calls and e-mails from suppliers and customers, create/setup pickup requests and shipments, dispatch drivers, manage a database software scale system for incoming/outgoing scale traffic, troubleshoot issues, offer sales support and perform general office duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Interact and effectively communicate with our customers, in bound and outbound drivers and plant personnel in a professional and effective manner
- Maintain and update accurate information in RMR’s computer system/scale software system
- Evaluate incoming pickup/delivery requests and determine driver assignments
- Dispatch drivers to ensure supplier satisfaction
- Evaluate problematic conditions affecting service levels and react accordingly to resolve issues
- Provide sales support through supplier reporting needs
- Manage and reconcile purchase order requisition and report to accounting
- Determine/evaluate/process freight cost associated with pickup/delivery requests

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Previous warehouse/manufacturing office environment experience.
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and professional communication skills
