Job Description Summary:

As the International Trade Execution Director, you will oversee multiple product shipments across various modes of transportation from domestic locations to the end customer. In this role, you will have a strong focus on container movements and brokerage with third-party operators while building relationships with existing and future logistic service accounts. Reporting to the SVP Commercial Operations, and as a member of the trade organization, you will work closely with the commercial and senior management teams, as well as interact with various stakeholder groups across a variety of business segments and functions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage contract and Letter of Credit terms to negotiate and maintain relationships with banks
  • Develop relationships with service providers (surveyors, labs, vessel agents, etc.) to secure accurate documents
  • Ensure goods are shipped in line with obligations to the sales contract
  • Interface with internal/external customers, distributors, vendors, brokers, and carriers to ensure compliance with all applicable import/export regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments including compliance, logistics, credit, and accounting
  • Manage internal staff to make certain they have the proper training and tools to execute shipments
  • Booking and container logistics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, International Business or related field preferred
  • 4 years of relevant experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with the U.S. Regulations Export Administration Regulations
  • Experience in International Trade or Agribusiness
  • Strong knowledge of international logistics and documentation including containers
  • Knowledge and experience with US customs regulations
  • Experience with international container shipping
  • Knowledge of international shipping requirements, including Incoterms
  • Intermediate Excel skills and experience with other Microsoft Office products
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle high-pressure scenarios
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Deadline driven, with the ability to work with urgency and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
