We are looking for a full-time, experienced medical assistant to join our team at our Riverview location.
Office hours Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Clinical duties:
- Taking and recording vital signs and medical histories
- Reviewing medication lists with patients
- Preparing patients for examination
- Performing blood draws and other lab activities
- Administering medications and/or injections as directed by a physician
- Administering EKG's and PFT's
Front duties:
- Phone communication with patients
- Making and confirming appointments for patients
- Referrals and authorizations
- Maintaining medical records
Applicants must have medical assistant certification and experience working as a medical assistant in a primary care clinic setting. Must be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be eager to learn!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
