Position Title: Retail Trainer
Reports to: Retail Training Specialist
Summary:
This position is responsible for training execution within the Retail department. Working with the Retail Administrative team, they will provide assistance to Retail staff as needed and as directed by the Retail Training Specialist.
This position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting new hire teller training
- Responsible for developing and implementing ongoing training for tellers
- Works with Contact Center on new agent training
- Conducts one on one training in branches and contact center as needed
- Facilitates courses for GSB University as directed by Training Specialist
- Periodically assists with branch staffing needs
- Contributes to building a positive team environment
- Responsible for compliance and understanding of the Bank’s policies, procedures, and legal guidelines, both new and existing.
- Assumes responsibility for self-improvement through training courses (internal and external) as well as personal curiosity and inquisitiveness
- Perform other responsibilities and duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of training experience preferred
- 3-5 years of retail banking experience
- Up to 50% travel in Franklin & Hampshire County. Valid driver’s license required; able to travel freely and without restriction

- Must be proficient in use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and course authoring tools
