Greenheck Group is currently hiring an individual to join the Assembly team on third (3rd) shift in their Minneapolis, MN location.Assemblers start at $21.37/hour and will receive an additional $1.50shift differential for third (3rd) shfit.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assemble air handling units per blueprint. Install all necessary components according to SAP program.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand instructions.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to understand component functions.
- Ability to read measuring devices.
- Ability to safely operate equipment (Accupress, Accushear, notcher, bandsaw, welder, pipe threader).
- Ability to identify all parts used during assembly.
- Ability to maintain paperwork/recordkeeping.
- Operate overhead crane/forklift/material handling equipment based on safety guidelines.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks.
- Be adaptable enough to learn the necessary functions in a timely manner and perform them within accepted output and quality levels.
- Must follow standard safe practices that apply to all activities
- Applicants must be able to work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18
- A stable work history without significant gaps of employment
- Basic math, reading and computer skills
- Experience reading a tape measure
- Experience reading blue prints
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily.
- Requires frequent lifting, routine bending, leaning, reaching, kneeling, etc.
- Previous experience in sheet metal manufacturing, farming or the military is a plus.
- Applicants must be able to work overtime as needed.
