FLSA: non-exempt
Part-time Employees
The company at its discretion may hire part-time employees. Part-time is defined as less than 30 hours per week.
Work Schedule
- PT workers will need to have flexibility
- Regularly scheduled workdays will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Regular 8hr shifts.
General Summary:
- The brazer's primary responsibility in this role is to efficiently operate carious manual and automated equipment in the production of headers, coils, and welding.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize what work is to be performed using SAP
- Inspect the quality of the coil by checking hairpins, fins, overall aesthetics of the coil, and cleaning off any excess oil
- Braze the coil joints and connections so that they are leak-free
- Per the print, attach headers and braze accordingly
- Ensure the quality of brazes and that all joints and connections are brazed before sending to quality test tank to test
- Confirm out in SAP
Job Qualifications:
- Brazing or welding experience, preferred
- Detail-oriented
- Work independently
- Blueprint reading skills
- The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
- Good communication skills
Physical Requirements for the job
- Ability to move at least 50lbs
- Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day
- Wear the necessary PPE for the position
