Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor

· Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments

· Assigning workloads and daily tasks to warehouse associates

· Communicating with the office manager to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems

· Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy

· Ensuring inventory and storage areas are organized, clean and maintained

· Monitoring warehouse associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery

· Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.

· Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.

· Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.

· Notifies purchasing of needed consumables and shop floor materials

· Ensures that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse.

· Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.

· Schedules materials being transferred to and from warehouse, coordinates transfer of inventory between warehouse locations.

· Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices in order to move aging inventory and reduce damaged and scrapped material.

· Monitors expenditures: implements corrective actions if needed.

· Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.

· Resolves routine equipment issues.

· Ensures warehouse equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Preferred experience:

- Preferred experience with QuickBooks inventory software or experience setting up an inventory management system

- Must have experience organizing/setting up a warehouse and managing inventory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
