GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the CMK - College Marketing department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide the Economic Development and Corporate Training Division (EDCT) with marketing support to advance programs/services to adult learners seeking non-academic training opportunities as well as help enhance workforce development efforts of the division through marketing support. Ensure frequent and consistent communication between the division and the marketing department.
Serve as college marketing representative to the Economic Development and Corporate Training Division (EDCT). This position will work with program managers, EDCT leadership and the marketing supervisor to define and execute marketing strategies and programs including but not limited to catalogs (twice a year), flyers, brochures, postcards, eblasts and e-newsletters.
In coordination with the creative director, plan photo shoots as needed for the catalog, division and summer camps marketing. With input from EDCT staff, identify, vet and schedule students to participate.
Monitor EDCT social media and execute social media calendar with regular posts promoting public offering courses, public-facing events, success stories and employee recognitions on EDCT Facebook page.
Coordinate attendee recruitment, registration and follow-up communication for public-facing events. Ensure events are included on college calendar and updated as needed. Provide appropriate marketing collateral, division-branded promo items and banners.
Work with college marketing-approved vendors to purchase promotional items that meet quality standards and branding guidelines, maintain inventory and distribute to the division for events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree and experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree 2 yrs experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material. Preferred experience in developing and executing marketing plans, and public relations. Some website CMS experience is preferred. Knowledge of implementing marketing plans and working with numerous internal and external stake holders. Must be a strategic thinker, good writer, familiar with AP style guide, experience in event planning, and able to turn projects around quickly with minimal oversight. Project management is a must with the ability to coordinate numerous projects at one time. Some experience and familiarity with website CMS, adhering to brand guidelines and consistency, marketing compliance. Attention to detail is a must.
