Greenway Kia Franklin is seeking a highly motivated, organized, self-starter for the Title Clerk position! This person will be provide accounting and clerical support by processing all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a similar position. Candidates must have a pleasant and helpful personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, good computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous automotive dealership experience is a PLUS!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled
- Prepare tax and title documents
- Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Maintain a system to verify out-of-state titles
- Compile and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work
- Stay abreast of title regulations. Attend seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available
- Reviews each deal for completion & accuracy of all paperwork
- Post & finalize all retail deals & dealer trades
- Verify & Payoff Trade-in vehicles
- Manages inbound communication, such as phone calls and messages, e-mails, and letters
- Provides clerical support, such as typing, filing, copying, data entry, and record keeping
- Provides administrative assistance as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- One year of relevant experience, Preferred
- Strong computer, typing, and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Highly professional and dependable
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Excellent telephone skills
- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
