What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detail Technician position at Gregg Young Chevrolet Inc?
Gregg Young Mitsubishi is looking to add Detail Technicians to our team. First shift is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm and second shift is Monday-Thursday 12-8pm and Saturday 8:30am-6pm. This is a full-time position paying $15-17/hour flat rate depending on experience. Apply through our website at www.gymitsubishi.com
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Washes and waxes vehicle exterior
- Cleans vehicle interior using the appropriate cleaning agents and applicators on upholstery, mats and other surfaces
- Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects – dents, scratches and torn upholstery
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of automotive industry is preferred
- Experience with high speed buffer is preferred
- Must be able to work in a very fast paced atmosphere & multi-task
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Efficient at managing time constraints
- Detail-oriented (able to produce the same results consistently)
- Previous auto detail experience is preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
