- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork
- Assist with patient registration and update patient records as needed
- Provide administrative support to the office staff, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
```Skills```
- Experience working in a medical or dental office preferred
- Strong clerical skills, including typing and data entry
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with transcribing medical or dental notes is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
