Shop/Crew Foreman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop/Crew Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our Columbus location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of hood cleaning tasks, as well as maintaining a high level of quality control and inventory. Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily activities of kitchen exhaust cleaning, including managing technicians and ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize FileMaker to manage cleaning schedules, track progress, and make adjustments as needed.
- Conduct regular customer visits to inspect and clean kitchen exhaust systems.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with the corporate office to ensure that jobs are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Coordinate with night manager and corporate office to ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available when needed.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure that all job sites are in compliance with OSHA regulations.
-Manage shop inventory and equipment to ensure that all jobs are completed within scheduled times.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop, ensuring that all equipment and materials are properly stored and secured.
- Provide leadership and guidance to crews to ensure that they are working effectively and safely.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a kitchen exhaust cleaning foreman. 5 years
- Strong understanding of kitchen exhaust cleaning principles and practices.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Experience with inventory management and equipment troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of quality control and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and provide leadership and guidance to KEC crews.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing scheduling requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business management or a related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
