The Community Relations and Marketing Department is a fast-paced, dynamic, and service-focused team dedicated to advancing the 125 year Gritman mission of providing exceptional healthcare in all the communities we serve. Reporting to the Director of Community Relations and Marketing, the Community Engagement Manager leads team initiatives centered on social media content and channel management, signature event planning and execution, brand ambassadorship, constituent engagement, community support projects and other work as assigned. The position contributes to the work of the team by managing critical administrative functions for the department including welcoming guests; responding to internal and external requests for departmental assistance or support; managing cloud-based project task tracking; communicating with hospital personnel and community partners; processing invoices and related forms; assisting in the design and production of print and digital marketing collateral using established brand templates; and being a dedicated contributor to our tight-knit, performance-driven, patient-focused team.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree is preferred with study in a related field including communication, public relations, marketing, journalism or advertising.
Minimum Work Experience
2-3 years in a professional environment. Preference given to work experience in a related team or field including communications, public relations, marketing, or advertising.
Required Skills
Professional and friendly oral and written communications skills; demonstrated computer experience in document design and formatting, spreadsheets, and other applications or platforms in the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Cloud; event planning and management; and social media content creation, planning and execution. High integrity, professionalism, creativity and team-centered approach to work.
Manages social media content creation, scheduling and integration across channels.
Leads the planning, design, staffing and execution of targeted marketing and community relations and foundation events.
Communicates with and responds to requests for assistance and support from internal and external stakeholders, including community members.
Supports the vendor relationship and internal processes for the employee online branded merchandise store.
Leads the department’s administrative activities including oversight of the department calendar, cloud-based project task tracking, processing invoices and other critical departmental forms, and ordering supplies as required.
Assists in the design and production of print and digital marketing collateral using established brand templates.
Welcomes and serves guests in-person, on the phone, by email, web and social media.
Manages orders for department supplies and marketing collateral including work with vendors.
Serves as a dedicated Gritman brand ambassador and contributor to our tight-knit, performance-driven, patient-focused team.

Physical Demands
All Gritman Community Relations and Marketing team members are expected to participate in and support several promotional events and activities throughout the year. These events and activities occur both indoors and outdoors in all seasons, and may require the ability to lift, bend, carry and stack items up to 35 pounds. Use of ladders may also be required.
Environmental Conditions
This position is located at our main hospital campus in downtown Moscow. The office is an indoor facility but work is occasionally off site and outdoors. Occasional exposure to noise from hallway traffic, computers and telephones. Minimal exposure to biohazardous materials.
