Job Summary
GridPoint is looking for a few software engineers to join our engineering team. We are a small company with a startup culture that has seen rapid expansion. This position is in the Software team responsible for managing and evolving our cloud-based SaaS platform capturing telemetry from more than 15,000 sites and managing these sites to achieve optimally balanced energy profiles.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead a team of QA engineers and enabling them with best-in class industry leading automation tools and processes
- Strong experience with SDLC and Agile development & testing
- Participate in Agile software development activities (standup, planning, Increment planning)
- Collaborate with team members, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Software Developers to develop test strategies
- Coordinates with development team to define test automation frameworks.
- Define test strategies including functional, regression, automation, security, and performance testing
- Design and maintain the test automation frameworks
- Design and architect modular and reusable automated testing solutions
- Expertise to research and identity suitable test tools for portal, mobile and API testing.
- Expertise in developing CI pipelines of test execution (Portal, Mobile & API)
- Mentor and guide test team to develop and implement test automation frameworks
- Support and troubleshoot the platform for scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring of the platform across multiple cloud environments
Qualifications
- BS in a Computer Science related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- QA professional with 10 years software industry and management experience
- 6 year of prior experience developing test automation frameworks
- 6 year of prior experience developing test automation for web, mobile & API testing
- 6 year hands on experience in coding Java for develop test suites in Selenium and/or Cucumber
- 6 year of prior experience developing test automation using SoapUI-Pro, or RestAssure or Gatlin
- Fluency in Web Services standards, technologies, tools (e.g. XML/JSON, SOAP/RESTFul, etc.), and enterprise class implementation.
- Hands on experience in developing test suites in TestNG and/or Cucumber
- Experience in developing continuous integration pipelines for portal, mobile & API testing
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid communication and prototyping skills
