Job Overview

Griswold Home Care of Fargo is seeking a reliable and committed Accountant Specialist who takes pride in their work and has a strong desire to learn and grow. The ideal applicant will possess at least 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping or controller related positions.

Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage books, expenses, receivables
• Manage Balance Sheet and P&L
• Head up monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
• QuickBooks entries
• Recording financial transactions

• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable

• Billing & Payroll
• Manage tax reports and tax liability payables
• Reconcile bank accounts for multiple companies
• Creating and processing invoices.
• Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy.
• Managing company's accounts payable and receivable.
• Sending bills and invoices to clients.
• Tracking organization expenses.
• Working with collection agencies on overdue payments
• Communicating with clients regarding billing and payments
• Contribute to forecasting and budget planning

Qualifications:

· 5-7 years of Finance Accounting experience

o Accounts Payable

o Accounts Receivable

o Staff Accountant

· Minimum of 5 years of QuickBooks experience

· Payroll Accounting skills and Payroll Laws

· Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office, databases and proficient with Microsoft Excel

· Bank reconciliation experience

· Ability to Prepare Financials (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet)

· Consistent, accurate, thorough, and detail oriented

· Exceptional organizational skills, planning skills and aptitude for numbers

· Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal

· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

· Polished phone and email etiquette

· Ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment

· Adept at problem-solving, showing resiliency when faced with challenges

· Reliable and dependable attendance

· Strong record keeping skills

· Comfort collaborating with a team
