Senior CapEx Project Engineer

The Senior CapEx Project Engineer is responsible for planning, managing, and executing capital expenditure (CapEx) projects to support the company's strategic goals and operational efficiency. This role involves overseeing all phases of project development, from concept through completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead and manage multiple CapEx projects simultaneously.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, procurement, and contractors.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.

Technical Expertise:

• Provide engineering expertise for project design and implementation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

• Select and manage vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Oversee contractor work to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Budget and Cost Control:

• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Track and report on project expenditures and variances.
• Implement cost-saving measures and ensure efficient use of resources.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all project work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality audits.
• Implement corrective actions for any deviations or issues.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project engineering, with a focus on CapEx projects.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale capital projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Skills:

Certifications:
