The Franchise Sales Executive is responsible for recruiting highly qualified new franchisee prospects through broker networks to meet the Company’s goals and objectives while tracking and controlling the new development of locations to ensure the long-term success of the Company. A focus is on Franchise License sales as well and Development agent sales.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Target, identify, recruit, qualify and close prospective franchisees.
- Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for franchise growth.
- Meet budget and other financial goals.
- Work cross departmentally to ensure each franchisee has the approval for new locations based on full compliance with all departments, such as our legal, finance, operations, marketing and real estate.
- Work collaboratively with the team to build and maintain solid, trusted partnerships with existing Franchisees, track account progress, identify and resolve problems, and identify new sales opportunities.
- Coordinate validation and attend discovery days, scheduling follow-up meetings and successfully conducting them.
- Familiarity with the Real Estate process and area demographics.
- Monitor existing development schedules to ensure compliance.
- Maintain communication with variety of lending sources to make development capital available to franchisees.
- Create presentations and be able to persuasively administer them.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS degree in Business Management or similar experience
- Minimum 3-5 years with franchise sales experience
- Demonstrated progressive relevant experience and solid understanding of sales operations
- Strong analytical ability and able to prioritize multiple projects
- CRM experience and knowledge – specifically pulling and tracking sales leads
- Excellent problem solving, project management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Local and national travel – 10-20% based on needs of the business
- Strong MS office skills and PowerPoint; strong social media knowledge and networking
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Strong knowledge of franchise operations, an understanding of real estate/site selection and franchise financing.
- Ability to create excitement and strong pipeline of potential Franchisees for our brand.
- Proven track record of high sales performance for a franchise system
- Solid working knowledge of franchising, business development, and strategic planning.
- Experience in aggressively growing territories through strong team-building and lead maximization strategies.
- Proven track record of setting sales goals and implementing necessary steps to achieve sales goals.
- Aggressive sales mentality – relishes working within a performance-indexed compensation scheme.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods at a workstation
- Worker is required to have close visual acuity to view data on a computer terminal, extensive reading at a distance that is close to the eyes.
- Finger dexterity is needed to type on a keyboard frequently
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects from place to place.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
