Job Description
Groom-N-Tails Pet Salon is looking for a mature, responsible and reliable Grooming Assistant to join our team! We are a small business that is very passionate about our clients. Our goal is to provide the best quality of service in the industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Set up bathing area
- Greet clients with a friendly demeanor
- Bathe, blow dry & brush out dogs
- Maintain equipment in good condition
- Restock supplies
- General cleaning of facility, equipment, and grooming area(s)
- Other duties as assigned by owner
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of Canine handling & behavior
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Must have a current Tetanus shot
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
