Job Skills / Requirements
Pay rate is $15.00/hour. Must be available on the weekends.
- Floor Tech Responsibilities:
- Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas and other areas.
- Moving furniture before and after cleaning.
- Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping and waxing floors.
- Pressure washing needed areas.
- Measuring chemicals correctly.
- Operating chemical dispensing units.
- Labeling chemicals correctly.
- Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
- Keeping inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Assisting with hazardous waste collection as requested by supervisor.
- Floor maintenance experience preferred.
- Completion of on-the-job training.
- Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and infectious diseases.
- Resilient to noise.
- Physically agile.
- Excellent communication skills.
Additional Information / Benefits
Only for full time employees with 35 hours
- Upon completion of 90 days 3 sick days will be available for each calendar year.
- One-week Vacation to be awarded upon completion of one-year full year of service. Two weeks paid upon completion of three full years of service.
