What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Geologist position at Group Delta?

Group Delta is looking for an exceptional Staff Geologist to join our Irvine team. The successful candidate will need to have experience and understanding environmental, health & Safety regulations to perform all field work as described.

What you’ll be doing:

· Conduct field work generally consisting of supervising drilling activities; logging test borings; collecting soil, surface water, groundwater, and soil vapor samples; and oversee well installations – candidate will work approximately 50% to 75% in the field.

· Support environmental and geotechnical assessment/remediation projects by providing field support, data management and interpretation, and technical assistance.

· Conduct quality assurance and quality control of work product.

· Assist in the preparation of technical reports.

· Assist in the preparation of proposals.

· Interact with multi-office and multi-discipline teams within Group Delta.

· Other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

· 0-2 years of relevant experience

· Bachelor’s degree in geology or related field.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
