The Technical Production Lead role is responsible to provide guidance to team members to process all operational activities to flash various mediums (devices, SD cards, and USB drives) and attach security devices as defined by client program requirements.

Description
Group O is looking for a Technical Production Lead to join our team. The Technical Production Lead role is responsible to provide guidance to team members to process all operational activities to flash various mediums (devices, SD cards, and USB drives) and attach security devices as defined by client program requirements.
- Mobilize and direct department team members to execute flashing procedures to deliver production outcomes and meet safety, quality, production and financial goals as defined by client requirements and business objectives.
- Partner with Technician Support Manager to confirm client requirements and flashing protocols.
- Work together with team members to execute defined processes : download and validate client software updates to be flashed/copied and process the receiving, put-away, picking and fulfillment processes.
- Define, standardize, maintain and train team members on work procedures and tools to improve quality and productivity.
- Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Identify and prioritize the workload for all areas of responsibility, align resources to areas to meet production demands.
- Monitor the productivity, efficiency and accuracy of all processes and resources.
- Suggest modifications to established procedures and improve quality to reduce cost.
- Assist employees with work process problems.
- Report discrepancies and quarantine as necessary.
- Perform the quality audit function when necessary.
- Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
- Develop a team environment and promote a positive attitude within department.
- Demonstrate safety procedures and safe equipment operation to new employees.
- Generate and maintain departmental reports as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Checking email for Ad-Hoc requests.
- Programming of devices per special requests.
- Validating device parts.
- Solochain moves (when needed).
- Cycle counting.
- Fill in where needed.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- PC literate (Can navigate to network file locations).
- Basic technical trouble shooting by process of elimination.
- Able to give good verbal direction.
- Proficiency with computer system. (MS-Excel, Outlook and Word).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate and maintain computer equipment.
- Working overtime when required.
- Bending, standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods of time.
- Proficiency in integrated ERP systems preferred.
- Lean manufacturing.
- ISO or other formal quality systems.
- 2 years experience supervising and/or developing others and technology.
- Excellent planning, communication, and follow through skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to details skills.
