This position is located in Quantico, VA (Part-time/As needed).
Role Player - takes on a variety of roles in various situations that assist students in creating a realistic environment that they would encounter in the field. Roles may include civilians, police, bank robbers, crime victims, witnesses, media, professionals, etc. Scenarios include real life situations including key-leader engagements, meet and greets, etc. Role players play a vital role in preparing the students for their success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Appropriate attire and appearance (e.g., groomed) to realistically portray assigned role(s)
- Remain in attire and in character for the duration of training exercises
- Actively improvise to meet demands of training requirements
- Report at least 30 minutes prior to each scheduled start time
- Remain professional while performing assigned role(s)
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Working knowledge of English language
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must pass FBI background check, physical, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
- Must have prior law enforcement, military or role playing experience.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Good physical conditioning and stamina required
- Able to perform required physical actions, including but not limited to the following:
- Walking and standing for an extended period of time, sprinting/running, lifting and carrying objects with varying weight, stopping and bending, squatting, reaching, put on knees on the ground, handcuffed, etc.
- Able to perform weapons handling related tasks, including firing blanks firing weapons
- Able to be handcuffed and searched, as scenario dictates
- Able to sit through multiple consecutive roleplaying scenarios for an extended period time, such as interviews and interrogations (may last up to 2-3 hours)
- Able to withstand hot/cold weather
