What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Director, Client Operations position at GroupM North America?
ABOUT THE TEAM:
The Planning AD will support the team on day-to-day campaign and project management, which includes (but not limited to): working with internal MediaCom teams and clients to align on key dates and communicate these to all stakeholders; creating templates for internal teams to follow to ensure consistency; owning key campaign/project follow through & delivery; help optimize our team way of working using process & technology.
YOUR IMPACT:
…Own and manage timelines for all key deliverables understanding and managing expectations from the client and agency team.
- Tracking campaign briefing and budgets in the tracker and alerting Directors and internal specialist teams of inconsistencies.
- Support the Directors to plan and oversee workflow for campaigns, including the tracking of overall budget, brief, and schedule.
- Ensure appropriate usage of project management and communication tools for maximum effect.
- Have insight to the overall team’s capacity and work with the teams to smooth out the workflow.
- Work with each internal investment or specialist team to break down their process to find efficiencies.
- Conduct post-campaign reviews to better understand opportunities for future improvement.
- Partner with internal investment & specialist teams to better understand their challenges, offering creative and innovative solutions to solve timeline and delivery challenges.
- Partner with Directors and investment leaders to make time for training in team schedules.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 years of agency experience desired
- Advanced Excel experience required
- Project Management software experience preferred
- Client Management or Client Success experience a plus
