People Experience Specialist

Are you looking to launch your career in Human Resources? We're seeking a Human Resources Specialist (known as People Experience at Grove) to be based at our St Peters Fulfillment Center. 


The People Experience Specialist will manage employee data integrity, own the onboarding process at the Fulfillment Center and help support Grove’s People Experience team's initiatives. The PX Specialist will be a bridge of communication for employees and will be instrumental in helping Grove continue to grow and evolve our people processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and executing P/X procedures and policies, and provide guidance and interpretation for operations leadership
  • Assists with and initially conducts investigations in partnership with P/X leadership Processes payroll (or serves as the backup), including updates to employee files, bonus pay, PTO changes, and benefits changes 
  • Responsible for integrity and accuracy of data entry in ADP, including onboarding and offboarding employee data (input, update, audit, manage employee transaction data) 
  • Partner and facilitate new hire initial onboarding including, but not limited to, uploading data to ADP, new hire paperwork, I-9 verification, and presenting new hire orientation
  • Initial point of contact for employee questions such as payroll or benefits enrollment reminders Understand standard company policies and practices to answer questions and triage complex issues with the People Operations Partner(s)Prepare regular and ad hoc reports in ADP
  • Conduct employment verifications and assist with unemployment claims
  • Maintain and contribute to team process documentation Create and maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of employee files
  • Participate in and support efforts of People Team projects and programs like performance reviews, annual open enrollment processes, and communications


Requirements
  • 2-4 years experience in an administrative or operations role within an HR environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Approachable with solid communication skills, able to provide detailed follow up notes
  • Service minded with an eagerness to support new and existing employees
  • Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating initiative, follow-through, and flexibility
  • Professional maturity to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Experience with Excel and Google Suite
  • Experience with HRIS - Grove uses ADP
