We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Talent Acquisition to join our team in the restaurant industry. As the Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will play a critical role in attracting and hiring top talent to our organization. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS / REPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and analyze talent needs: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand open positions, required skills, and desired cultural fit.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies: Utilize various recruiting methods, including online job boards, social media, and networking events, to identify and engage potential candidates. Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies and other talent acquisition resources, as needed.
- Source and screen candidates: Actively search for qualified individuals, screen resumes and applications, and conduct initial interviews to shortlist potential candidates.
- Manage the recruitment process: Oversee all stages of the hiring process, from scheduling interviews to facilitating offers and onboarding new hires. Prompt follow-up after each stage of the interview process to keep the momentum going and avoid delays related to scheduling conflicts or waiting for feedback.
- Streamline the recruitment process: Identify and eliminate unnecessary steps, using efficient scheduling tools, and providing clear communication with candidates throughout the process overall decreasing time to fill.
- Pre-onboarding communication: Provide new hires with information about their start date, paperwork requirements, and what to expect on their first day. Provide information to Human Resources, payroll, training restaurant, and management to prepare the team for their new team members arrival.
- Metric and Reporting Analysis: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) or all recruitment activities. Generate regular reports on metrics such as time to hire, cost per hire, offer acceptance rate, etc. for the management and leadership teams. Maintain the recruiting budget.
- Mentorship and support: Establish initial connection with new hires, answering questions, and offering guidance as they settle into their role.
- Gathering feedback: Conducting early check-ins to assess the new hire's experience and address any concerns or questions.
- Build and maintain a strong employer brand: Promote the company's culture, values, and employee benefits to attract a diverse pool of talent.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices: Stay up to date on new technologies, regulations, and strategies to maintain a competitive edge as the recruitment landscape constantly evolves and share insights with the hiring managers.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of two years experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment techniques and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including video conferencing and phone skills
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software, ADP knowledge a plus.
- High level of integrity and ethics in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Experience using social media platforms to recruit top talent.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft office excel, word, PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 10-15%
- Flexible hours may be necessary, on occassion, in order to accommodate a candidate's interview schedule
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
