Product and Application Training Manager

Grundfos Americas Corporation is seeking an experienced Product and Application Training Manager to join its Country President team. The Product and Application Training Manager will be responsible for deploying customer training within the framework and direction of the digital training offerings and training curriculum defined by the Divisions and Functions. Also responsible for coordinating employee training activities within the framework of the global learning curriculum and employee learning activities related to compliance in the country. The Product and Application Training Manager will collaborate with Division and Functional Leaders, HR Business Partners, End Users, OEMs and distributors, Universities, Colleges and NGOs, Marketing and Public Affairs, Global L&D, Customer Learning Department and Digital Training development. This position will operate daily out of the Brookshire, Texas facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

What is the job about?

• Grundfos Academy operation management
• Work with Divisions to make an annual training calendar for Customer and Employee training.
• Facilitation of technical and application training for customers (including end users, installers, specifying engineers, OEM’s, distributors and dealers, representatives) and Grundfos employees.
• Engagement with Universities, Colleges, Technical institutes and cocreate curriculum for technical training in Plumbing, Hydraulics and pump applications
• Establish and maintain the Technical Training department policies and procedures.
• Maintain and develop external vendors e.g. platform operation companies and third party training companies for continues local improvement
• Design learning courses frameworks considering country conditions
• Identifying customer needs through divisions by coordinating a training program, methodological support
• Analysis of customers’ feedback, improvement of customers learning processes
• To support the evaluation and development of employees within the framework.
• Along with Global CoE – evaluate the best practice, processes and procedures for product and application training across business areas, interact with strategic stakeholders across the entire Grundfos

What do you need to apply?

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor/Master’s degree in relevant field with 6-7 years of relevant work experience within product and application training – preferably in a global organisation.

• Strong background in and understanding of on-line learning platform management and development
• Experience in consulting with pump/water industry specific learning programs
• Experience in creating and running virtual programs making use of latest technologies
• Willing to try innovative training model
• Solid experience executing complex and specialized projects and experiences
• Solid project and change management experience in a multinational environment
• Fluent spoken and written English knowledge
• Ability to think strategically and operationally
• Experienced in working effectively with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
• Team player and have collaborative skills
• Strategic interpretation and analytical skills
• Project management and senior stakeholder management skills
• Performance consulting skills
• Must be able to travel up to 15-20% if necessary. Thus candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
