As a Manager, FC&L Procurement, you will support the creation, execution and management of comprehensive sourcing strategies for Facilities Services.
The role requires the ability to develop procurement strategies that align with the business’s needs. A strong understanding of business and financial analysis will facilitate success. Ability to communicate with senior Finance partners and stakeholders is required
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…
- Lead regional sourcing strategies for facilities services.
- Build relationships with a network of GSK global stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify opportunities to create value.
- Create compelling business cases for change and obtain approval to execute from GSK budget/business owners and support functions (Finance, HR). Drive alignment on how benefit delivery will be budgeted.
- Deliver regional benefits identified in strategies through effective strategy execution.
- Build strategic relationships with key suppliers and lead processes to ensure value is driven from these relationships.
- Gather and interpret external supplier and market knowledge.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of experience in procurement
- 2 years of experience in project management and business operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Demonstrated ability in managing categories is required, particularly with respect to developing & implementing strategies, stakeholder management and supplier relationship management
- Demonstrated experience in influencing strategy and managing across multiple geographies and supply chains
- Demonstrated experience in managing global/ regional projects with consideration to diverse LOC needs and regulation (e.g taxes, law, regulation)
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use negotiation and conflict resolution skills to protect GSK rights and interests
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks across multiple projects using project management skills
- Proven ability to provide effective procurement management in complex organizations using technical expertise and analytical skills
