Job Title : Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Contract Duration : 2 Months

Location : Snellville, GA

Work Type : Onsite, Monday 8.30 am - 5 pm, Tuesday - Friday 8.30 am - 2.30 pm

As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative , you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for performing phlebotomy procedures, collecting and processing patient specimens, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Phlebotomy : Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including infants, children, and the elderly.
  • Patient Interaction : Greet patients warmly, answer questions, and provide clear explanations about procedures.
  • Specimen Processing : Properly label, handle, and process blood specimens.
  • Quality Assurance : Adhere to strict quality control standards and safety protocols.
  • Administrative Tasks : Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Required Qualifications :

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
  • Certification : Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in specific states).
  • Experience : Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse patient populations.
  • Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Flexibility : Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
  • Reliability : Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in a patient service center environment
  • Customer service experience
