What You’ll Do
- The Warehouse Worker is responsible for picking and packing products that are scheduled to be shipped out.
- You will work to verify orders as they come in and out of the facility.
- Load and Unload trucks and process them to the correct area for storage.
In this Function, You Will
- Pick, pack, and ship product
- Verify product, product numbers, and quantity for order accuracy
- Load and unload Trucks / Containers
- Receive and process stock and materials
- Stock the warehouse and rotate/replenish inventory
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime
- Ability to lift/carry up to 35lbs
- Ability to move material as needed (push/pull 35lbs)
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing to work in a variety of capacities/functions
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Must live within 35 miles of Woodridge, IL
Preferred Skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Handheld / RF Scanner experience
- Forklift, Material Handling Equipment, or Powered Industrial Truck experience
- Related experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to understand English due to lack of Spanish-speaking materials and trainers. This has been a safety concern in the past.
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Experience operating PIT or feeling comfortable with learning to operate a PIT.
Notes:
- Hours 8:30 am-5:00 pm CST
- Orientation: 8:30 am
- Individuals will be needed strictly for cleaning/organizing the warehouse floor for a designated period of time (estimated 1-2 weeks) before being trained in operations.
- We require they wear safety shoes when they come to orientation.
