Role Summary: The Account Representative is at the forefront of GTT sales and supports Account Managers and Account Directors at GTT, the role is dedicated to finding our next new name customers, understanding their challenges, matching their needs with GTT services, and most importantly closing the deals. The Account representative works closely with Sales Engineers and sales management to help find and develop opportunities. The Account executive will work within virtual ‘Opportunity teams’ which are created to respond to the customers’ requirements, design the solutions and build the proposal to the customer. The role is supported by marketing who are charged with delivering qualified leads to the Account Representative, however it is expected that the Account Representative will apportion time to creating their own leads. Main Responsibilities: • Target new customers to get initial conversation, leading to opportunity creation. • Sell GTT's full suite of products and solutions to the Swiss region. Including connectivity (SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet), Security (SASE) and Communications, (SIP, Video Solutions) • Key customer profile is companies with a Swiss decision making unit and considerable international footprint/requirement. • Present GTT solutions to the customer. • Build a prospect pipeline from a standing start via own initiatives. • Work with the considerable marketing support available to drive further prospecting initiatives. • Provide full visibility of business potential through the Siebel Opportunities reporting tool. • Provide timely and accurate business forecasts. • Work with Product Management and Pre-Sales to create sound proposals. • Drive opportunities from discovery, through development to close. Ideal Candidate Profile: We are looking for a solid new business Enterprise Sales person with a minimum 2 year career history who hits targets, to join a company that is expanding fast and will offer great career progression. Essential Criteria: Must be confident in engaging with Director and C level executives on their business challenges and translating needs into benefits. • Knowledge of enterprise communications. • Be an avid listener, and expert at translation of needs into appropriate solutions. • Be comfortable with technical topics. • Able to write proposals and specifically executive summaries, showing how needs are understood and how solutions will meet them. Desirable Criteria: • Previous application management experience • Have spent time in a cold-calling environment Other Similar Job Functions: Account executive (desk based) with at least 3 years sales experience looking for their first face to face role.
