Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct spiritual/pastoral/bereavement support as needed.
Scope of Responsibility
As a Hospice Chaplain you will be responsible for counseling with patients/families, hospice staff and volunteers as needed acknowledging and respecting their beliefs, culture, and values.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) to include psychiatric experience preferred
- Regularly ordained minister in good standing with a regularly recognized church
- Minimum of 2 years previous parish/church ministry experience preferred
- Previous hospital and Hospice chaplaincy experience preferred
- Must be proficient with the use of the computer and be able to learn several software applications quickly
