Duties:
Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Guard Dog Security's objectives, encompassing both DTC and B2B segments.
Social Media Marketing: Manage all social media campaigns and coordinate with strategic partners
Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising, while adhering to platform-specific marketing restrictions.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
E-commerce Optimization: Drive growth in DTC sales through Amazon and Shopify, optimizing product listings, advertising campaigns, and customer engagement strategies.
B2B Expansion: Expand our presence in mass retail distribution channels, working with retailers, distributors, and small businesses to increase brand visibility and sales.
Innovative Technologies: Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing technologies, tools, and trends, and leverage them to enhance Guard Dog Security's marketing efforts.
Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and marketing restrictions on major platforms, while finding creative ways to reach our target audience.
Trade Show Marketing and Planning: Assist in the planning and execution of trade show events to promote Guard Dog Security's products within the B2B space.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to make strategic adjustments and optimize results.
Content Development: Oversee the creation of marketing content, including blog posts, videos, infographics, and other materials to engage and inform the target audience
SEO and SEM: Manage search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) efforts to improve online visibility and drive organic traffic.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of dedicated marketing worked backed by results and analytics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in a marketing role preferably in a consumer products
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Amazon and Shopify.
- Familiarity with marketing restrictions on major platforms like Google, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Ability to navigate challenges unique to the personal security products industry.
- Demonstrated success in growing mass retail distribution channels.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Trade show experience is a plus.
