- Position: SENDCO
- Levels: Whole School (11-18)
- Start Date: September 2024 (or as soon as possible)
- Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience) plus TLR 2B (£5,346)
- Work closely with the School's Director of SEN (Lead SENDCO) to manage and enhance the provision for students with SEND.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to support students' individual needs.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of the SEND team, including teaching assistants and support staff.
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEND, implementing interventions where necessary.
- Teach a subject of your specialism, contributing to the broader curriculum.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for supporting students with SEND.
- A degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience or a strong interest in working towards a SENDCO qualification.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
