Landscape Foreman

Position: Foreman/Driver

Job Summary: As a Foreman/Driver for Guardian of Orlando Landscaping, Irrigation, and Maintenance, you will be responsible for leading a team of Ground Techs to maintain the appearance and health of our clients' landscapes. You will also be responsible for driving our company vehicles and ensuring that all necessary equipment is loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. You will work closely with our clients and other team members to ensure that our services meet or exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Ground Techs to perform landscaping, irrigation, and maintenance tasks.
• Drive our company vehicles to and from job sites.
• Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure that all necessary equipment is available and in good working condition.
• Communicate with clients to understand their expectations and address any concerns they may have.
• Train and supervise team members to ensure that they are performing tasks safely and effectively.
• Perform regular maintenance on landscaping equipment and vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on the team.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in landscaping or a related field, including at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and train team members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.

Work Environment: This position will require you to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold. You will also be exposed to potential hazards such as pesticides and power tools. Appropriate safety gear and training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $650.00 - $750.00 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Orlando, FL 32810: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Grounds Maintenance & Landscaping Managers & Supervisors: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
