Position Summary

Guggenheim is seeking an exceptional individual to join its Fund Administration team within the Office of the Funds’ CFO. This person primarily will be responsible for review and oversight of the annual and semi-annual shareholder reports, N-Q, N-PORT, N-CEN and 24f-2 filings prepared by the Funds’ third-party administrator for 1940 Act open-end and closed-end funds. Additional responsibilities include analyzing fund expenses, responding to audit requests, monitoring dividend requirements, preparing reports for the Funds’ Board of Directors and planning and coordination of audit cycles.

The successful candidate will have experience in the financial services industry and be comfortable interacting with all levels of management in a team environment. Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance preferred. Industry experience a plus.

The position is located in the firm’s Chicago office.

Essential Job Functions

• Review information for various regulatory filings, including registration statement form N-1A, forms N-Q, N-PORT, N-CEN, 24f-2,
• Review annual and semi-annual financial reports which are prepared by a third-party service
• Prepare fund expense budgets for closed-end
• Assist external departments in the creation of prospectuses.
• Review and/or prepare deliverables for fund audits and respond to auditor requests during
• Planning, coordination and oversight of audit
• Research Reg S-X
• Complete other departmental duties as

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or
• Three years in Accounting or financial services industry or relevant accounting or financial services internship experience
