The Role
Guidant financial is currently looking for a remote Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead and support a full-function, international team in quality assurance. This individual will be responsible for delivering the service and experience that we promise to our clients while identifying process improvement needs through the lens of risk-based compliance. Sharing best practices with employees, implementing policies/procedures within their team, and supporting the career development of individual team members is a key component to achieving success. In addition, this role will lead their team to overcome obstacles and challenges standing in the way of team and client success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop a fully remote, high-performing team of employees who are responsible for compliance review of files for multiple departments across the organization.
- Recommend changes for organizational and process improvement based on a risk-based approach.
- Coach and adjust team focus on goals attainment.
- Exercise professional judgement to resolve compliance-related issues where following standard procedure and client experience are in conflict.
- Support company and team vision and values through role modeling and coaching desired behaviors.
- Regularly communicate progress, results, challenges and obstacles with Client Services leadership team and others involved in product management.
- Set performance goals and deliver ongoing feedback through, at minimum, monthly one-on-ones.
- Support the team and the company by utilizing visual management to monitor performance and goal achievement.
- Assist in identifying trends for ongoing training and development of plan administrators based on quality issues.
- Lead the team to efficiently identify and resolve escalated client issues.
- Act as team ambassador for cross-department initiatives and projects.
- Review new sales contracts as needed within committed service level agreements (SLAs)
- Identify complex plans to assist in determining outside counsel meeting eligibility and assign counsel as needed.
- Coordinate and assist in timely completion of IRS/DOL audits for plan
- Provide resources and support to the operations team while looking through a risk-based lens
