ABOUT THE JOB:
The Guidebook Team is seeking a proven sales person to join as a Sales Executive responsible for the full 360º sales cycle. This candidate will drive new business from prospect to client, own and deliver pound-for-pound renewals, and consultatively find upsell within our existing customer base. This individual will work with a broad spectrum of prospective clients and existing customers to ensure a seamless buying and renewal process, and identify opportunities for customers to extend their relationship with Guidebook.
Our team values collaboration and the Sales Executive will have the opportunity to help develop the sales function by defining the role and responsibilities, and shaping key processes whilst also partnering closely with the Customer Support Team to understand salient trends to better serve our customers.
This position requires the ability to sell the value of Guidebook, identify up-sell and growth opportunities, negotiate, and effectively manage a portfolio of customers to limit pound-for-pound, and logo churn while also landing a healthy stream of new customers.
Guidebook’s EMEA business is growing quarter on quarter and we need a self-starter to help take us to the next level.
WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Become a product expert, learning from our Customer Success Team in a deep dive of our platform.
Own the renewals and upsell process for a portfolio of customers in collaboration with the Customer Success and Sales teams.
Learn innovative ways to leverage the Guidebook platform to solve an array of important business issues for new clients and customers.
Close new and renewal business on a quarterly basis and develop and close new add-on sales, while meeting and exceeding your quota.
Analyse usage metrics to understand howcustomers leverage Guidebook, including evaluating product adoption.
Join members of the sales team on client calls with various accounts, and begin to understand how we support them to achieve a positive ROI.
WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Develop a foolproof success plan to ensure organisational adoptions and expansion of our product.
Share best practices to ensure your clients are maximising their subscription.
Work with product management to translate business needs to product requirements and craft new solutions for customers
Consultatively supporting larger accounts to achieve portfolio growth. This will include: pulling metric reports, creating bespoke documentation, and exuding a confident presence on calls.
WITHIN 12 MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Identify and implement process improvements to scale the role.
Work to make the rest of your team better because they should be making you better too!
Be an integral part of supporting our whole sales team and client base not only in EMEA but globally.
OTHER CHARACTERISTICS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
1 years of new business sales or account management and/or sales experience ideally in a SaaS company, with proven success in growing/maximising accounts. (Customer support or client relationship management experience is a perk!)
You have experience developing strategies on assigned accounts to fully leverage technology solutions.
Capacity to thrive in both a collaborative, team environment - while also working independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail, and ability to manage time to deploy a wide range of projects.
Track record of leading projects from conception to closure, and experience leveraging internal resources to get things done.
Impeccable time management and prioritization abilities.
Experience with CRM and CS platforms.
Confidence to perform informative and compelling virtual demos and in-person meetings.
Enthusiasm and high energy while balancing confidence and professionalism.

LOCATION
