Responsibilities
The Business Process Consultant shall be responsible for assisting the Government in designing, implementing and improving governance and compliance. This person will serve as a consultant to help the Government understand and manage risk to strike a balance between risks and opportunities.
Day to day activies will include:
- Improving business process so organizations can be more efficient including making recommendations to automate manual processes
- Providing strategic roadmaps to improve business process to chart out efficiencies that create long-lasting value for our clients
- Assisting in planning, identifying, analyzing, mitigating, and monitoring organizational controls
- Contributing to the development and implementation of risk assessment models and risk management mitigation programs
- Advise risk-based decisions based on effective risk planning processes
Qualifications
The following qualifications are required to be considered for this role:
- An ACTIVE AND CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI COUNTERINTELLIGENCE POLYGRAPH (FULL SCOPE OR LIFESYLE preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in a general field of study is required. Five (5) years of experience in one of the following areas is required: budgeting, finance, statistics, risk management, process reengineering, internal controls, performance measurement, program/project management, or acquisition
The following experience/education/skills are PREFERRED to be considered for this role:
- Experience with leading and mentoring others
- Experience managing project budgets
- Experience with coordinating across workstreams and delivery areas.
- Business certifications
- Ability to create clear, concise, and error free documents/deliverables.
