What You Will Do *:
The Training Consultant will create, develop, implement, and conduct training as part of the Organizational Change Management support where Guidehouse and its partners are implementing technology solutions and/or operational process changes for utilities clients.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assess training and development needs working with Process teams, Functional teams, and client OCM and Training staff
- Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of skills training for end users (client employees)
- Develop unique training programs to fulfill job role specific needs to adopt new processes and technology
- Create training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials
- Support end user training and activities associated with training
- Working to align Internal Training Planning & Execution activities to the client business area needs based on input from and collaboration with business resources, subject matter experts and project teams
- Support OCM Lead, Project Leadership and Internal Training Lead on planning and execution of solutions to address process changes, changes in job roles, and skill gaps associated with change solutions.
- Work with relevant client stakeholders to refine templates for training activities.
- Work with OCM team to plan and execute training amongst all levels of leadership and support both within the project team and the client organization.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
- Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development
- Performs other Change Management related tasks and support deliverables completion as required
What You Will Need *:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 years of directly relevant work experience excluding internships, co-ops and fellowships
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, training development methodologies and tools to include instructional design.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the technology imeplementation lifecycle
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
- Experience with leading teams and project management
- Due to nature of contracts, US Citizenship restrictions apply
- Currently reside on East coast of the United State
- Ability to travel as needed
- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
- The salary range for this role may vary depending on degree, directly relevant work experience and location.
What Would Be Nice To Have *:
- Master's degree
- Supervisory experience
- Training Development with Change Management experience within the Utilities industry
- Change management certification or designation, e.g., Prosci
The annual salary range for this position is $98,400.00-$196,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
