Responsibilities
As a Systems Analyst you will support the assessment of enterprise systems, applications, and data sources for a Defense & Security Segment client which directly impacts the implementation of Archibus, an Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). This assessment will require the analysis of systems with similar functionality and related data sources to make recommendations that identify opportunities for consolidation and integration to improve operations. Additionally, the assessment will identify the capabilities, services, and business processes implemented by the deployment of various Archibus modules.
Responsibilities include:
• Collaboration with the Archibus Implementation Team and government points of contact (POCs) to understand and analyze the IT landscape, systems, applications, data sources, and associated business processes impacted by the deployment of Archibus
• Facilitate discussions with government POCs and key stakeholders to gain an understanding of existing / planned system functionality, policy implications, data sources, and potential integration points between Archibus and other IT systems
• Assessment and analysis of functional requirements for business systems and applications
• Review and analyze system architecture diagrams, system and business requirements, business process maps, system user guides, and standard operating procedures
• Develop business process diagrams with Microsoft Visio or other process mapping technologies
• Perform data mining and analysis from multiple systems and various data sources
• Ability to interface and communicate between the business and IT – understanding the business requirements and how to translate them into technical specifications
• Develop actionalable recommendations based on the outputs of data analysis
• Facilitate discussions with government and external stakeholders to gain an understanding of existing / planned system functionality, policy implications, data sources, and potential integration points with the Archibus system
Qualifications
The following qualifcations are REQUIRED to be considered for this role:
• U.S. GOVERNMENT Secret clearance (interim or active)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Five (5) years of relevant experience
• U.S. Citizenship
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
The following experience/education/skills are PREFERRED to be considered for this role:
• Demonstrated experience performing system analysis support
• Ability to proactively identify and address client needs, recommend solutions, and deliver quality results in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
• Ability to articulate relevant decisions, approaching deadlines, challenges, recommendations, and business impacts to clients in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to build strong relationships, build consensus, and guide teams through change
• Ability to effectively engage and interact with senior management level clients and team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think critically, strategically, and innovatively
• Certification(s) related to business process improvement, data analytics, or Lean Six Sigma
• Previous experience working with the Department of State
