OVERVIEW:
Guidepoint’s Finance team not only makes sure the bills get paid on time, but provides the company with innovative solutions to optimizing and growing our collective ROI. The team manages and organizes financial planning, forecasting, spending, and accounting information to ensure Guidepoint operates smoothly.
The finance team is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join the growing team. This person will focus on compensation, payroll, HRIS, and benefits administration.
This position can be remote within the United States.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Process payroll and update employee information in payroll system
- Manage records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting
- Manage invoicing reconciliation for carriers, administrators and vendors of Firm’s Health & Welfare and Retirement plans
- Audit and reconcile records against carrier, payroll, and HRIS databases to maintain accuracy
- Assist the HR staff in the creation of complex queries to compile information from the HRIS
- Act as security administrator for the HRIS
- Assist with benefit & tax reconciliations
WHAT YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
- 1 year of experience working in corporate benefits, or benefits consulting preferred
- Previous experience with payroll
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, direct, and coordinate processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Ability to interact professionally with all staff including CFO, CEO and other senior management
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel Formulas)
