Job Summary: The Math Teachers of Tomorrow (MT2) Program is an effort to recruit and retain highly effective, diverse mathematics teachers
Program Description: Participants will receive full financial support to earn a Master's or Arts in Teaching degree in either Secondary Mathematics or Middle Grades Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The program is a cohort model that allows you to build relationships with others in the program. Participants receive a stipend to participate in professional learning. Mentorship from experienced math teachers will be provided to help ensure your success as a Math teacher. Participants must agree to teach math in the district for 2 years post program completion.
Qualifications: Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree with 24 semester hours in Mathematics coursework. 2.7 or higher GPA preferred.
