Facility Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring that all the equipment in an office building, parking lot pavement, building, and/or landscape is properly maintained in all branch locations, and the BSC office, while tracking expenses and progress of maintenance completion by third party or internal sources. Facility Manager will act as main point of contact for branches as a resource to assist in repairs and ensuring locations are well maintained for the safety and comfort of the Gulfeagle staff and customers. Preventive maintenance is also a component of our building care.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Building maintenance nationwide for all locations including interior and exterior
Take preventative measures to ensure buildings are well maintained
Develop the scope of project with the local Branch Manager in written form
Work with and support Branch Manager as he/she obtains three proposals/bids within their local market for the necessary repairs as outlined in the scope of work
Analyze bids, approve expense, and award job
Ensure job is scheduled and completed in a timely manner and ensure the documentation of repairs as well as any guarantees which were provided by third party company
Review photos and quality of work completed with the local Branch Manager
Manage third party security camera vendors for all locations
Work with and support external remodeling source as needed
BSC (corporate office) Maintenance
Manager vendor repairs including but not limited to plumbing, alarm, cleaning services, and electrical
Order supplies as needed, i.e., filters, lights, etc.
Manage warehouse storage bay
Conduct light repairs and maintenance such as replace light bulbs as needed
Manage logistics for employee relocation of office, furniture, etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Well organized person with strong administrative and good interpersonal skills. A person who is very dependable, and who can work independently. Position may include light travel.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years’ experience with previous building maintenance responsibilities
An understanding of building materials and the functions of office/warehouse buildings
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ability to get work done quickly and properly.
Must have good technology, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Physical Abilities:
Ability to climb a ladder, perform roof inspections.
Ability to bend, reach, and stand.
