CNC Grinder - 2nd Shift

GWS Tool Group is a rapidly growing, energetic company that is committed to investing in the organization and it’s employees. Our CNC Grinder is responsible for producing premium quality, high precision, carbide cutting tools using specific tool grinding machines and programs. Will ensure proper set up machines, programming, tooling, and parts are machined in accordance with manufacturing standards and specifications.

Opportunity Details:

As a CNC Grinder, you are responsible for:

• Programming, setting up and operating machines to produce tools per product specifications.

• Ensuring product accuracy and uniformity throughout the manufacturing process creating consistent parts.

• Reading technical drawings/blueprints to develop custom programs for specialty tooling.

• Providing general preventative maintenance to all machines.

• Identifying wheel wear on all wheel types

• Setting-up, inspecting, producing good first piece & run production.

• Create programs and wheel offsets.

• Other duties as assigned.
