What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator position at GWSI?
Job Description:
We are looking for a technically skilled candidate with excellent attention to detail for the position of Forklift Operator. Forklift Operators work efficiently and safely to transport, track, store, and load/unload cargo within a global supply chain. This is a second shift position.
Duties:
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items
- Transport materials to different locations within facility
- Working knowledge of RF scan gun
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Operating and managing technical equipment
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Perform cycle counts as needed
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- 2 years forklift experience preferred
- 1 year minimum experience with RF scan gun and warehouse preferred
- Ability to perform all of the physical requirements including up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
