Internship Location : Michigan Center, MI
Our Internship Experience includes :

Position Overview :
The R&D intern provides lab support to scientists / researchers, assisting on NPI products development, and running various tests.
The successful candidate will studyand complete onetechnical subject assigned bythe R&D team. This position may support sales and QC team for customer complaint investigation on some occasions.
Primary Duties :
Conduct routine laboratory tests and experiments under supervision.
Assistlab technicians and scientists in setting up experiments and gathering data.
Study on one technical subject and present the work to the technical community.
Record experimental data accurately and maintain detailed records.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Required Qualifications
B.S. degree with a major in chemistry, polymer, chemical engineering, or materials science / engineering with 1 2 years lab experience from universities or chemical industries.
Demonstrated hands-on skills and willingness to perform lab tasks.
Ability to apply relevant scientific principles, theories, procedures, or techniques with strong analytical thinking.
Independent, motivated, organized, and resourceful with excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and software for analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
1 2 years industrial co-op / internship hands-onexperience is preferred.
Knowledge of CASE (coating, adhesive, sealant and elastomer) chemistry, formulation, testing and application.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $22-$25 per hour based on major.
