What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Technician position at H & H Consulting?
Candidate who can effectively control accident and health exposures in the company and minimize exposure to regulatory violations. DUties may include:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and various training communications.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Under guidance of the safety team, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred).
Experience:
- 2 years related experience coordinating the safety program in a heavy industrial setting.
- Prior MSHA experience strongly desired.
