What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant (Remote) position at H.H. Dobbins?
Our company has an open position for an Accountant. This is a fully remote position, you may be required to come to the office 1-2 times per month. The ideal candidate will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. The ideal candidate will also be expected to oversee payroll and assist with personnel-related functions.
We would like you to have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field and at least two years of related experience.
Competency with QuickBooks, understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software/accounting software. Excellent computer skills needed, including Excel and Word.
This position will assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment of health insurance, 401K retirement plans, paid family leave, and workers compensation and assist employees with all HR related issues, benefit inquiries and resolve any concerns. This function will also include overseeing all personnel changes from onboarding to termination and stay up-to-date with changes in benefits laws and regulations.
Full time immediate position with Sick and Vacation time, 401K, and Health Insurance.
