We are searching for Servant Leader to be our Talent Manager. Key responsibilities include recruiting and retention of talent for supervisory and leadership positions in the upstream oil & gas industry.

Talent Manager will identifying qualified consultants, conduct interview to asses their skills and character to determine if they are a good fit for any open positions or potential positions.

The Talent Manger will also be responsible for retention of talent and responsible for developing loyalty between the company and the talent by finding ways to build, develop, and serve our talent.

Recruiting people online, updating job listings, scheduling drug screening, selecting the resumes that best match the employer hiring needs, and contacting applicants for interviews are some of the responsibilities of a Talent Manager.

The Talent Manager must represent the values and principles of H&J Petroleum to promote the culture and further the mission.

Suggested Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement recruitment pipeline via HubSpot.
  • Create and update job descriptions.
  • Scouring applicants from different channels such as various social media platforms like LinkedIn and utilize our network for referrals
  • Writing recruiting emails for passive candidates.
  • Reviewing application resumes.
  • Taking interviews via video, phone, and in-person.
  • Recommends new policies and practices to improve the attractiveness of the organization.
  • Work with Marketing to advertise job opportunities.
  • Providing shortlists of qualified candidates to the hiring manager.
  • Respond to questions about compensation and benefits.
  • Work with team to determine future hiring requirements.
  • Acting as a consultant to serve new hires.
  • Develop and implement a consultant appreciation program.
  • Live out and communicate principles and values to stakeholders.
  • Track key metrics in recruiting pipeline like number of qualified candidates, interviews per week and references checked.
  • Track key metrics on retention and talent job satisfaction

Skills:

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 programs (i.e. Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel.)
  • Have sound Emotional Intelligence and intuition
  • Recruiting and interviewing skills
  • Teams, phone, and online meeting platform skills
  • HubSpot CRM entry and upkeep skills
  • Ability to coordinate appreciation events or gifts

Education: Minimum of Highschool diploma with relevant work experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
