Overall Job Function: Drive profitable net growth through maximizing selling of your concept. Analyze performance and take actions together with Store Sales Team, influence the buying process by sharing market and customer knowledge and country input with the Buying Office. Responsible for driving the commercial plan for your concept in collaboration with Store Sales Team, based on collection beliefs and focuses. Create and execute reduction strategies that will secure profitability and optimal composition of stock for your concept.
Job Description
Drive Your Concept:
- Adapt the global commercial beliefs to local needs throughout the commercial planning on concept level
- Analyze sales weekly. Optimize net selling on your concept through setting clear commercial focuses, working closely with Visual Merchandising and Marketing to drive strategies that maximizes product availability. Quantify KPI goals and execute through to follow up
- Maximize the selling potential of your concept by securing the right space management in store according to the current stock situation and sales drivers
- Supply your market organization with commercial focuses in order to set the right priorities to drive your concept both short and long term
- Act on the sales opportunities/threats together with your Regional sales team
- Review your commercial plan periodically, reactive to latest trends, and set quantified improvements for next year.
- Create analysis, drive reporting efficiencies, and hindsight seasonal and quarterly finding
- Work closely with store, e-commerce, and supply chain merchants to ensure holistic, omni approach that maximizes selling via product availability
Optimize Your Stock:
- Set the allocation strategy on store segments for your concept and update it in correspondence to selling and stock
- Maximize selling in store by securing stock levels support sales and minimize reductions
- Follow up size availability in store and give feedback on supply chain setup
- Optimize stock balance between new and previous seasons with allocation and weekly active pushes
- Act with replenishment when demand exceeds supply or vice versa
- Responsible for reduction cost of your concept. Optimize the effect of reductions through sale, activities and price adjustments. Recap results
Create the Best Customer Offer:
- Coordinate the quantified goal setting process for all concepts within your Sales Markets
- Run a concept strategy to drive sales net growth that is aligned with your quantified goals
- Know your market: retail situation, fashion level, competitors
- Know your customer expectations and the price they are willing to pay for each key product at any given time
- Influence prices, quantities, income per period and assortment width through fast, frequent and focused feedback to the Buying Office
Qualifications
- Past merchandising experience
- Sales-driven, customer-focused and results-oriented
- Analytical and fluent with excel data and reporting
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
- Must be able to make decisions and take own initiative
- Ability to coach and train all levels of employees on subject expert knowledge
- Minimum 20% domestic and international travel is required
